Tumuaki Talk and End of End-of-Year Reminders:
Kia Ora Whanau
As the school year comes to a close, it is with a mix of emotions that I say goodbye to Whenuakite School. Serving as your principal, whilst has had its ups and downs, has been a privilege and an honour, and it is bittersweet to bid farewell to such an extraordinary school, staff and tamariki.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of witnessing the incredible growth and achievements of our akonga/students, the dedication and passion of our teachers. Together, we have created a nurturing and dynamic environment that fosters both academic excellence and personal development.
As I reflect on our shared journey, I am filled with gratitude for the countless memories, the challenges we have overcome, and the collective spirit that defines our school. The Whenuakite School community is truly exceptional, and I am confident that it will continue to thrive and flourish in the years to come.
I would like to express my deepest thanks to the dedicated team who have worked tirelessly to make Whenuakite a place of learning and growth. Your commitment to our students is commendable, and I am proud to have been part of such a remarkable team.
To the students, I want to say thank you for your enthusiasm, curiosity, and boundless energy. You are the heart of our school, and I am confident that each of you has the potential to achieve great things in the future. Keep reaching for the stars, and never underestimate the power of your dreams.
To the parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting your children to us and for your continuous support. Your involvement and partnership have been instrumental in the success of our school, and I am grateful for the strong sense of community that defines Whenuakite School.
While I am sad to say goodbye, I am excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead for both myself and the school. I am confident that the leadership team and staff will continue to build on the foundation we have laid together.
Thank you once again for the privilege of serving as your principal. I will carry the memories of Whenuakite School with me always, and I wish each and every one of you continued success, growth, and happiness.
