Question 1: Do you think we should ALL (Adults, Caregivers, Clubs and School) do EVERYTHING we can to ensure ALL our children are SAFE, in and out of school?
As you can see, 20 out of 22 whanau believe that we ALL should all 'do everything we can to keep all children safe'...WE AGREE! It is important that everybody does everything that we can to support the well-being of ALL children, whether a school, whanau, club or other group.
Some ways we can do this:
- Ensure that staff, volunteers, coaches, contractors etc. are Safety Checked / Police Vetted and have a First Aid Certificate.
- Everyone is to sign in when at school, or events, and have trip health and safety/child protection induction prior to excursions.
- School Grounds are locked during the day / no visitors walking around the school unnecessarily.
- Raise a concern if anyone is concerned over a child's wellbeing.
2) Our tamariki have said that adults should show the K.I.T.E. Values as well as them. Do you agree that adults should be Kind, Innovative, Trustworthy and Enthusiastic in everything they do?
WE AGREE! It is important that we all treat each other with respect, be kind, and support each other.

Purchase Yummy apples, either bags with cut-out labels or individual apples with Yummy stickers. One cut-out label is worth 10 apple stickers.
It relies on the support of parents and friends to get behind the children and eat ‘YUMMY’ apples. Getting free sports gear in return is an awesome way for our school to boost our sports resources.
Buy apples with the ‘YUMMY’ stickers only and stick them on the sheets. It is as simple as it sounds! Parents, grandparents, friends and children collect the Yummy cut-out labels and/or stickers and we send them into the Yummy Fruit Company, swapping them for Rebel Sports Equipment. Children do not have to physically sell anything but simply eat healthy apples and have fun collecting stickers.
