Term 1, Week 6 10/3/2025 - 14/3/2025
From the Principal's Desk
Kia ora Kotou katoa, greetings to parents and caregivers,
Hockey this week, with both junior and senior students participating at the give it a go hockey day at Thames Valley Hockey in Ngatea. Students were excited to put some skills together and play against other teams. The senior students - Year 7/8- were really motivated and want to try to put a team together for the AIMS games in September. A huge thanks to the parents who took transport. The students did well with the support from the teachers and coaches.
AIMS Games
The AIMS Games website is open. Visit the website if your child is in Year 7/8 group and interested in team and/or individual sports this year - https://www.nzaimsgames.co.nz/ This process of enroling students must be completed by the school and as we progress with the organisation for the AIMS Games, the school will contact you about what is needed for your child to be involved. Please be aware that we would expect excellent attendance, behaviour, and all school work to be completed, to be chosen to go to these extra events. More information out soon.

Winter Sports
Hi, to our students and to children in the wider community, are you keen to join in on sports? We are starting to get our sports teams ready for Winter sports - Netball, Football and possibly some Hockey.
Please keep an eye out for information in regards to these sports opportunities. We will also be maximising the SkoolLoop for sporting events and updates around events. Please remember to be signed into the specific Group.

This was at the Hockey and reminds us all what the expectations should be at any sporting event - Big or small

We are also in need of registered Adult Helpers - we are grateful for 1, 2 or the ultimate 3 days of Camp. We appreciate each one as they join our pop up community on a hill and shine 🤓💖
